We can’t say enough about Carrie! Early in our journey to build our “forever” home with Wasko we were introduced to Carrie Lightfoot. As 25+ year homeowners we knew from experience what we wanted in our new home, and Carrie was able to turn our needs and wants into an executable plan that resulted in a beautiful home we are truly proud of!
Carrie walked us through each step. Some were big steps – what would the facade be made of and look like, room size and layouts, how our spaces would be utilized. Others were smaller but no less important – cabinetry decisions, flooring materials, wall colours, and even furniture placement. The integration of Carrie’s ideas on these big and small steps is why we a have home that we love to share with our friends and families, and much more importantly, is a home that we simply enjoy living in.
Carrie is obviously a talented professional. There were so many decisions and selections to be made, but Carrie guided us through this process, and something that we thought would be stressful, designing and building a custom home, she unexpectedly made it fun.
We have continued to use Carrie’s services to help us decorate and style the interior of our home and with landscaping design decisions. With our project nearing a close, this will not be the end of our relationship with Carrie. We will definitely be connecting with Carrie for future updating, renovating or styling advise!

Carrie lead me through a huge renovation on my cottage. We added a second floor and expanded from 2 to 5 bedrooms to accommodate by family. She was able to take all of my ideas, thoughts and wishes and turn them into reality.
She was a very effective link with my contractor and helped me work through each design choice taking into account both style and function. She shared her incredible wealth of knowledge and did not overwhelm me with options. She would determine what I wanted and give me a few choices that suited my needs.
I love my finished cottage and will share pics on my next visit up.
Carrie took an incredibly daunting task and turned it into a complete pleasure with a final product my family will enjoy for years.

Carrie is amazing!! We worked with her on our new house build in 2020/2021. There are so many choices and decisions to make, it can be overwhelming. For our first ever home, my wife and I chose to do a custom built home with Wasko. This was a huge learning process for us and we were so grateful Wasko connected us with Carrie. She was such a pleasure to work with.

She quickly learned our style and attended many of our meetings with various contractors to provide her insight and ask tough questions we were not comfortable asking.

She provided her expert advice about everything from the exterior brick/siding colours to the minutiae, such as the type of sink that would be easiest to clean! Her attention to detail was second-to-none, and she was always willing to provide her input (even if we asked her a question late at night)! We look forward to our next build as we are excited to work with Carrie again.
