The hotel itself is stunning! We loved our room, it was very clean, for the most part the staff was kind. Van Ryder was fun! Valet was super unhelpful and I even tipped him and I wish I didn’t cause he didn’t help us load the car and he he yelled no at us when we were trying to take the cart back in. Super rude. His name was Austin. He’s very young and I hope this encourages him to be more of a servant leader!

Dakota was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were quiet, clean and the design was u cluttered and relaxing (except for the exposed concrete ceilings- didn’t totally align with the rest of the design in my opinion). The beds were very comfortable, there was a hidden fridge, a coffee maker, and ironing supplies. That bathroom was large with a very pretty shower. The rooftop saltwater pool has a nice view, is on the south side of the building, and was serene, quiet, and relaxing. The rooftop bar is 21+ and has an outdoor area. The seating is comfortable. Valet parking is the easiest but there is an open pay by the hour lot now too.

Last experience was amazing so we are now returning again in a few weeks.

Today, I called the front desk and spoke with Dakota regarding my upcoming reservation. I was struggling to find a restaurant with a fun vibe for my daughters birthday. Dakota gave me a few excellent options. I also requested a referral for a bakery. Dakota was pleasant to talk to and took time with me as I had several questions regarding our stay and the area.

Super clean hotel! It was very fancy and also very comfortable. Great showers and friendly staff. I'll stay again! There are great restaurants and even STK is awesome. Go to the rooftop to take excellent photos of SLC. Great books in the lobby library.

The rooms are comfy and luxurious. We liked this a lot. The roof top terrace is great and also the pool is a splash, while being a bit small for the crowds that gather there on the weekend.

We had some issues with the service, but everything was solved in hindsight. Thank you for that! A bit more Training for the staff would still do good for an upper class hotel.

The restaurant is not worth the money. Rather find something in town, much better food for much less..

Excellent 2-night stay in a 1-bedroom king suite. Tons of room, and that tub was amazing. Rooftop pool is only 3 feet deep, so we just read our books up there instead. Ate at Adelaide on-site for breakfast and really enjoyed it.

I reserved a room with bathtub but was put in a room with shower. No notice given. Also, don’t know if it was just me, water pressure was low and I had to wait a few mins for the water to turn warm. Credit card machine was broken when I checked in. No fridge in the room. Bit odd for a 4-star hotel. Overall stay is fine, decor is cool. location is great if you are attending events in downtown but traffic could get noise if your room is on the street side.

Connected to The Element. I didn't stay on the La Meridian side, but accommodations were good since I was connected to bot . Excellent rooftop bar. Friends said the rooms were great.
