After reading the reviews, I was quite skeptical of staying here for business, but it was convenient location to where I was conducting business, and frankly, it was the only hotel with an outdoor pool (besides the casino resort). |The pool area was in pretty poor condition... but it was outside and had lounge chairs... worked for me in my free time to catch some rays. Didn't get in the pool though.|My room was ready early, it was clean and comfortable. It wasn't renovated but it was just fine. The AC was a little weird - it was SUPER freezing cold for the first 2 days. I turned it off temporarily to try to warm up the room a bit. But then when I turned it back on, I could not get it to actually blow cold air. Eventually after flipping it on and off for a bit, it came back on.|Limited elevators, so a bit of a wait, but that was ok.|Bar was good, friendly bartender.|Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.|Didn't have any issues with maid service. |Overall, it was just fine for a biz trip. Not a luxury vacation...|Based on the photos of planned renovations, it might be a lot nicer in the future.

Do NOT stay at this hotel! We attempted to stay in September. I had read the reviews but am not scared off by old furniture. We arrived and our first room had no working AC. Eventually we were moved to a second room. It was so gross, worn, smelly, and filthy that we would not stay. I left a neutral review at the time because the front desk allowed us to cancel our reservation and stay elsewhere. However, I have since discovered I was still charged and now need to do more follow up to try to get it resolved. Frustrating.

Parts of the hotel are very nice. The updated bar/dining area in the main floor is very nice. Breakfast buffet was great and the gym had nice equipment and weights. The hallways and carpet could be replaced. The a/c in our room didn't work so had to sleep with the window cracked to cool down. The staff were nice and helpful. I could tell they are trying their best. Just hope management will consider investing in updating this unique building.

This is the worst Marriott I have ever stayed at, skip it if possible. One good thing, the staff is amazing and have really good attitudes. I am sure they get tons of complaints, not sure I could hold up under those circumstances.
I couldn’t believe that the hotel would host our conference while under renovation. There is only one elevator, for guest (staying on floors 2-7), housekeeping, and the construction crews (working on floors 8-10). They said there is another staff elevator somewhere, so why aren’t the construction crews using that elevator? There isn’t a lot of extra noise for the renovation, which is a good thing. The rooms definitely need updating, the carpets lift in areas and are a tripping hazard. The power switch in my bathroom was blown, see photo, so I had no electric outlet for the bathroom. Also, the whole building was freezing and there was nothing they could do about it. Most people were wearing coats and heavy sweaters during the conference. No matter how high you set the thermostat, it blew the same temperature, around 50 degrees. Luckily the hot water was hot and the shower had amazing water pressure, so taking showers to warm up was nice. I went out and purchased an electric throw to warm up my bed. The bed was really comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. They charge $10 for parking, which is odd, it is a huge parking lot and has no competition from surrounding businesses.
I am not sure when the renovation is due to be completed, but with one elevator and 10 floors, it could take years. I won’t be staying here again.

The service at this location is beyond phenomenal. I was especially impressed with Brandy our server. She remembered our names all weekend and was super sincere in her desire to make sure we were comfortable and all our needs were met whenever we ran into her. The staff at the front desk (Kaylee) was incredibly helpful and pleasant as well. If you want great service, stay here!

Very run down hotel. Only one elevator is operational and all guests and staff are using it at the same time so the wait times are very long.

The Starbucks closed too early and there was no coffee in the lobby. The reason I was given for this is that the bartender didn't know how to make fancier coffee.

The AC doesn't work. I set it to 62 and it's more like 78-80.

I was just falling asleep and the fire alarms went off because of the renovations being done. The renovations are greatly needed as the rooms are very dingy and outdated. I spoke with another guest and she said she had ants crawling in her room.

Overall pretty disappointing for a Marriot. If this wasn't where the conference was I was attending and speaking at, I would've never booked this place or would've left and found something nicer.

This hotels only saving grace is that the staff is really nice.

I went to a conference at thus facility. I did not use any of the other amenities. The staff was polite, courteous and attentive. The only fault was the temperature control. Overall, the experience was good.

Don't come here, huge waste of money, they tried to not give me the mountain view room than told me that the top 3 aren't putting people in but I saw people come out of two different rooms above. Then it changed me twice for the room now I have to wait a couple days to get the $233 back. Don't waste your money here. It's not even that fancy and nice. You can hear the people next to you very easily they have thin walls. You have to pay for parking as well. It doesn't tell you but apparently the security deposit is as much as the room. They lie on the pictures too the room does not look anything like it does on there pictures and yes i booked the top floor nicer rooms i got a very basic room. Apparently they're renovating the top 3 floors witch is also a lie i found out. I will give them this though the breakfast is pretty nice but it's not free so I would recommend just going to Dennys or something else. $233 for a room with no microwave and a very tiny fridge.
