I had a fantastic stay at Aloft Coral Gables! The modern decor and vibrant atmosphere made it a refreshing and enjoyable experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and always available to assist with any questions or recommendations about local spots. The location is perfect, within walking distance of great dining and shopping options. I also loved the rooftop pool and lounge area—it was a perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend Aloft Coral Gables for anyone visiting the area. Looking forward to my next stay!

Hip décor, comfortable bed, amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with lots of outlets, and great Drybar toiletries. Very noisy, slept poorly—a fire alarm nearby went off for 20 minutes around 11 p.m. and I was regularly woken up throughout the night as guests noisily returned from bars. A nice hotel overall, but not great for a good night’s rest.

One of the worst customer service experiences was at this hotel. I was insulted and humiliated by Ana the front desk person. I even came back to try to check in after leaving offended and thought maybe this person is just going through a tough time. Especially after the valet guy mentioned she never talks to anyone. She was worse the second time even more rude. When I told her she needs to improve the way she treats guests she rolled her eyes and said “here’s my manager you can complain to her”. No effort to improve the experience.
When I said I’m the one paying (for the room) she said “you don’t pay my salary”. Terrible logic and worse heart.
I left and found another hotel with good service.
Please do not allow this lady to deal with guests anymore. And I hope her bad service wasn’t because I am a tanned skin Hispanic.

Avoid at all costs. We stayed at this hotel in April and we had reserved a room with one card and intended to place another card down to pay for the room on arrival. It appears that they seemed to know what to do at the front desk and although they had charged the initial card they said that would drop off when they took the new one. It never dropped off. We contacted them after leaving the hotel several weeks later. We told them we never had the bill drop off and they said it may just be taking longer. We waited a few more weeks and both charges are still there. We contacted a manager who said please send me proof that both charges went through we sent them a copy of our credit card bill and a copy of our bank statement both with the charges fully posted. They never called back they've never contacted us they've never emailed us. Poor customer service and we have paid double for a room. Never EVER stay here you will lose your money and they will not give it back. Management does not seem to care nor do they take any responsibility for their employees. Minor issues in the room can be overlooked when the facility is halfway decent but something like poor customer service can never be forgiven in my opinion.

We have stayed here many times due to proximity to MIA airport. During my latest stay I had mistakenly left my wallet in the room. Housekeeping found it and with the help of Stanley at the front desk the wallet was returned. Much appreciated!

BED BUGS!!! Do not stay here, especially room 300. I got 34 bed bug bites from this hotel and simply received an "apology for the inconvenience" because their "inspector" found nothing. I have traveled all over the world and never thought Coral Gables would be the place I get bed bugs for the first time. This place is outdated and dirty. Do NOT stay here.

What a terrible experience my wife is going to work to Miami they stay in this hotel and give her a room where the air conditioning does not move you can’t change the temperature and it’s as low as possible in temperature that you can the room is super cold frozen has spent two nights there the man from the Front Desk ( African American) has not wanted to help her last night they sent her a blanket and today they wanted to send her a heating machine in the 21st century that is happening in Marriott hotels I can’t believe it she arrived late to her visit because of this inconvenience the manager’s assistant. The man from the Front Desk didn’t helped her either she told her that the solution is to leave the hotel I can’t believe this really that’s how they treat people who go to work at the Marriott hotels and my wife is the ELITE IN MARRIOT, I can’t imagine how they will treat guests who don’t have status in Marriott.

The customer service at the front desk is the worse I have ever seen particularly the 3:00/4:00 shift. An issue arose and rather than tell the truth or compensate for their mistake the front desk attendant (appears to be Asian) tells me corporate made the mistake. Not knowing I have relatives who work for the company, this issue is sent to the property for approval; therefore, lying to guest. As a titanium elite member, I contacted member services and reported this incident. I will never return to this property again. I was tempted to check out and find another location and as dedicated to Marriott as I am, Hilton was an option.
