Beautiful hotel and rooms. Very clean and precise. The hotel staff will be glad to assist in any way they can to make your experience greater. On duty night manager helped us turn the fire pits back on outside after hours just so we could enjoy our time longer! Did I mention there are Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom mirror! Rooms are very quiet!

My stay at the Cambria Hotel Austin Uptown near the Domain for 3 nights and 2 days was a pleasant experience. The hotel's modern and stylish decor immediately made a great impression. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the needed amenities, including a comfortable bed and a nice seating area.

The location was fantastic; it was just a short walk from the Domain, making it convenient for shopping and dining. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. We also appreciated the hotel's facilities, such as the fitness center and the pool, which were well-maintained and provided an excellent way to relax and unwind.

Our stay at the Cambria Hotel Austin Uptown was enjoyable and comfortable. I recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and stylish place to stay in the area.

First, the good. Staff in the bar were professional and friendly. The hotel is new so everything was fresh and well-kept. The not-so-good started with the overpowering air freshener in the lobby and bar. The front desk was deserted and I waited more than 5 minutes for someone to show up so I could check in. Once she did, her attitude was a bit surly. They advertise breakfast, lunch and dinner but we saw no indications of food service in the lounge. Bar and snack prices were outrageous - even for a hotel! I didn't realize the hotel is "pet friendly" until I encountered a dog in the lobby. Our room had fleas and I woke up with a new round of bites each day. We also were barked and lunged at by an off-leash dog in our hallway - the young woman owner claimed it was an "accident" since she let the dog off the leash before entering her room (WTF?). Obviously, this last incident isn't the fault of the hotel, but was basically the last straw. We won't be back. Definitely not worth the price!

We held our Field Kick-off at the Cambria this Fall. Kevin Ouano (Dir. of Sales & Marketing), Emily at the front desk, Chris (F&B Manager) and staff, all worked tirelessly to ensure we had a smooth, 3-day event. On day 2, we had a small snafu at 6:30am. Chris grabbed his chef, kitchen staff and everyone went to work moving tables and rearranging our room for the day. No one said "that's not my job" but put on a smile and said "we'll get it done, don't worry." Everything from the rooms to the service, to the food and last minute requests was handled with total class and professionalism. To have a group of 65 folks together and not one complaint is pretty amazing! Highly recommend! Thank you Kevin, Chris and staff for such a stress-free event!

Everything was AMAZING! From the receptionist to the room, housekeeping, bartender, restaurant staff, the entire ambience is worth going back for. We were so amazed by the cleanliness and how our room smelled soooooo good. It was refreshing every time we walked in. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back and refer our friends!

The walls are not well insulated. We woke up frequently to people talking, knocking, and slamming doors from the hallway. We could even hear the people walking around in the room above us. The AC is also extremely loud inside the hotel room. The beds and pillows were too soft as well. Overall, we slept very poorly despite the hotel being fairly new and looking nice on the surface.

The location is nice enough, but traffic can make getting out of the parking lot a chore sometimes. The rooms are clean and quiet. The amenities are decent. This is the first upscale I've been in that didn't have a microwave in the room. To be fair, I can overlook the lack of a microwave, but a fire drill in the middle of breakfast is ridiculous.

Nubian Love

Looks good smells fresh and clean and a newer built hotel. Located far from the Domain. Don’t be fooled. You’d need a vehicle to get around and Uber Lyft prices are high in this area. Service is poor. Room service workers are genuinely nice. My interaction with them was the most pleasant. The front desk staff need more experience.
Hotel offers no onsite or offsite laundry service or dry clean. Be sure to pack enough clothes for your trip. It’s a highway location with not much around. If you need a place to lay your head, this is food for that. And yes the bartender makes a nice gin and tonic with a twist of lime.
The mark up on their snack bar is ridiculous. They have mastered the art of the STEAL. No water in rooms even at the $200-$500 nightly rates charged. I had an issue with a bottle of smart water which is $3 in the store and they charged me $10 for it. Wish I had asked the price before having it billed to my room. I only had about two sips and when I found out how much I was charged for it, I gave it back and they won’t refund me even for appeasement. I would file a dispute because I gave them the bottle of water back. I would never ever stay here again. It looks good online but it’s missing lots of soul and love. No Austin hospitality served here.
