Hotel room not as pictured on website, and it already a bit dated for being only 4 yrs old. I am giving 2 stars for the front desks attempt at a high level of customer service. Upon arrival we had complaints of the upkeep of the shower, the front desk staff was very attentive and went above and beyond by checking other available rooms, and switching us to a room with a nice shower space. However, on the flip side, when checking out, I noticed an erroneous dining charge added to the invoice. We had drinks at the rooftop bar (which was nice), but we paid by credit card, therefore there should have been no charge added to the room. When I called to report this, the person who answered captured all the info and told me she would call me back after investigating on their end. I never received a call back. I called back the next day (and was told I was speaking to a manager) - she was very dismissive to the issue but confirmed that the issue was on their end and she would reverse the charge off the final bill.
Also, housekeeping services were poor. Day one they cleaned and didn't event empty out all the trash bins. I called the front desk to report this and ask that they do this moving forward. Again, front desk seemed to not care.
The overall experience was not worth the price tag!

The front desk staff were efficient and supportive and managed to get us an early check-in on a very busy day.

Breakfast staff were attentive and helpful, very cheerful and welcoming. They handled the crowd with ease.

On site restaurants were open late. Parking was easy. Loading and unloading were easily manageable.

The building is beautiful and there are QR codes you can scan to read about various spaces in the building.

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

The hotel offers a unique blend of industrial warehouse aesthetics and thoughtful, modern design. I was particularly impressed with how they’ve managed to incorporate elements of the past into a contemporary setting.

What truly stood out, however, was the service, especially from two exceptional team members at the ground-level restaurant and bar. Michelle provided top-notch customer service with patience and attentiveness. She took my food order and checked in during the meal at perfectly timed intervals, making the dining experience both relaxing and enjoyable with her friendly demeanor.

Angela, the bartender, was equally impressive. She managed the spacious bar with remarkable efficiency, seamlessly attending to guests on all three sides. Her helpfulness and ability to maintain a warm, approachable attitude made a lasting impression. Both Michelle and Angela elevated my experience and are great assets to the hotel.

Had a great time. Fun experience. First night one of the front desk ladies was a bit trite with us but is okay overall. Try the QR code tour which takes you on different floors and teaches you the history of the building and Rockford. I enjoyed both the upper deck and the lower bar and grill downstairs (lower level by the pool), nice sized public meeting areas. Nice flooring and art, the art alone is worth the stay. I could’ve spent the entire weekend inside and would’ve been okay. The lower level bar has a soup and salad bar 11am-2PM, Monday through Friday which was quite nice - well stocked toppings and two different lettuce selections (iceberg and spring mix) with chicken and rice soup. Delicious. Rooftop has three decks technically. It’s hard to explain but more the reason to visit. I could go on and on but point is that I’m looking forward to coming here again. My stay was nice and appreciate the nice accommodations.

Stayed here on 11.22 for the REO Speedwagon concert with a couple of friends and we can't say enough about this hotel! I was a little worried about parking but it was so easy. If you have a lot of stuff, there's a spacious drive up where you can unload otherwise there are at least 2 lots just a few steps away from the front door. Check in was welcoming and fast. The elevators are also quick, you don't spend time waiting around for them. The room was perfect, we had a separate space to hang out and a separate space where the beds were. If I had to say anything negative it would be that they need bigger garbage cans in the rooms but we made it work. The vibe of the hotel and room is very cool, industrial and cozy. Hoping to find a reason to come back for another stay!!

We didn't use any amenities besides breakfast, which was great. They even had diet coke! The breakfast staff was on it, they were hustling, friendly and efficient.

Wow. This hotel is aesthetically stunning and has every amenity needed to have an amazing hotel experience. The rooms feel like your own apartment, the beds are so comfortable, the bar has two complimentary drinks in the evening, and breakfast is delicious. The building itself makes you feel like you’re staying in a 5⭐️ resort. I can’t say enough about the staff and our experience!

We had a wedding in Rockford and had about 75 guests stay at the embassy suites riverfront in Rockford. The hotel totally set the tone for the weekend! The rooms are big, beautiful and so different! It’s an old factory so lots of brick and high ceilings! The staff was outstanding and Daniella was an amazing contact helping to plan the weekend! Very cool rooftop bar and restaurant but also offers the free breakfast and happy hour for guests! A true gem in Rockford!!

It's a really nice looking hotel. The rooms are super quiet, being it's primarily made of concrete and the ceilings are high. The beds were comfy and lots of natural light. We didn't get a chance to experience the rooftop, as it does close early even on weekends. But the pool and spa were great and so was the breakfast (and staff!)
