I have stayed at this property many times (probably 8 times). I have generally had excellent stays here. However, I have had 2 bad stays. The first was forgivable and the second is the reason i am writing this review. I stayed at the property a few years ago and i needed to stay for 6 days. Unfortunately, at the time they did not have housekeeping available because they said they were short on people (covid time). I understood and what they had me do was change rooms midway through my stay to get a clean room with fresh sheets and towels. Not great but fine. Last night i was at the property and was stuck in elevator C at the property for approximately 1 hour. It was quite scary because the elevator was shaking going up and down…very unpleasant. I spoke to the manager after engineering was able to get me out. To accommodate me, i was only offered bonvoy points. I personally found this insulting after what i went through and the trauma around the experience.

I stayed here on my wedding night and it was amazing! They upgraded us for free, and the room was perfect! They took such good care of us and even gave us 2(!) bottles of free champagne to celebrate! The hotel was beautiful and clean, and all the staff was incredibly kind. The free upgrade was amazing!

I was here on a business trip! The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was huge! The front desk staffs were welcoming and friendly as well. Great first impression of the hotel. It was convenient having the Starbucks inside the hotel as well.

The artworks in the room and throughout the hotel were interesting. I can appreciate it, but personally isn’t my taste.

I used the valet parking during my stay, which was very convenient. You can take your car in and out at any point during your stay. You can scan a QR code or text the number to let them know you want your car. They are fast at getting the car ready for you! I texted the number after I’m done ordering my Starbucks drink and it was ready by the time the drink was ready!

I travel frequently and have come to expect underwhelming service at most “high end” hotels. My recent stay at the Grand Bohemian Charlotte was quite a pleasant surprise. Be advised that customer service and satisfaction is quite alive and well at this hotel. From the front desk personnel who always greet you with a welcoming smile and a request to please inform them if there is something that will make your stay more pleasurable, to the wait staff at Micro restaurant like Horace and Jackie who accommodated my craving for breakfast despite my arriving 15 minutes late, it was quite clear that their guests are their primary and ONLY focus. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and quiet. I rarely give five stars for any review but this rating is well deserved.

Beautiful hotel! Very avant-garde! The numerous staff members were incredibly helpful and courteous from checkin to checkout! We enjoyed the rooftop bar both nights. Mico restaurant was fabulous for Saturday brunch. The cocktails at both locations were top-notch! Would definitely stay here again!

Best hotel experience I’ve had in years. Every single person on the staff provided outstanding service. They have a very convenient complimentary local car service. The room was spotless and they provide daily housekeeping and turn down service. They provided all the complimentary room options one would need (toiletries, iron, safe, coffee/tea bar, and a magnifying mirror). The room service was also easy and food was great. The Executive lounge was fully stocked with a wonderful variety of drinks and snacks and was the perfect place to catch a view of the baseball park and have a meeting with my co-workers. This is my new go-to hotel in Charlotte!

What a disappointment! A stunning property but the front desk staff could not have cared less about service had they tried. The check-in time was 4pm. I arrived at 4:20 and had a 5pm work function. I was told my room was not ready and that they could not give me an ETA as to when it would be ready. I asked them if there was a place I could change for my work function and I was told there was none. I told them I would change in a co-workers room if they could deliver my luggage to my room when it was ready as I was tied up that evening, As I headed to dinner, I was given the key to my room. Upon return to my room at 11:20pm, my luggage had not been delivered. When I went down to the front desk, again I was met with apathy. No apologies, no offer of anything (a comped bar drink, a Starbucks, whatever). Again, major disappointment!

What an artistically elegant place to stay! The decor is very thought provoking and reminds me of a museum with modern and eclectic pieces. The rooms are also nicely detailed with a relaxing atmosphere that was very pleasurable. I had this beautiful chaise that I would have taken home! The wifi in the room was also very good. The restaurant was nice for those that like Argentine food but I found the dishes overly spicy instead of flavorful and even when telling the server I didn't like chorizo she didn't mention the grilled octopus I ordered was full of it. The salmon was delicious but the sauce was so spicy it was overpowering the other components of the dish. Also, my friend who is vegetarian was only able to order a salad which was so chopped up it was hard to determine what was in it. The ambiance was nice and the service was just ok. Perhaps opening the menu a bit more to accommodate vegetarian dishes as well as non-spicy selections. I'm sure the steaks were delicious but neither of us eat steak. Overall the hotel itself was wonderful and I will definitely return but find a different restaurant next time.
