Jessica and Emma made this experience 1000x better for us, as my wife and I just aren't good at explaining our style, let alone executing it. We didn't know what to expect, but the Hardt team made it easy for us. Tons of options on what they provide. For us, they provided it all. I would highly recommend Hardt if you're like us and need to start from scratch.

Our project consisted of a kitchen remodel, a formal dining room conversion into a home office, and a re-design of some basement space to create a lounge feel.

The kitchen was the largest piece of ours. You can see the large island, which was an idea dreamed up by Jessica as one of three options for us to better utilize our space. She had the contractors actually cut out and re-use some pantry cabinets, moved them across the kitchen, and allowed a mudroom space coming in from the garage. I can assure you, that was not an idea I could come up with on my own.

And the design for everything was perfect. We went through tons of options, and eventually found exactly what worked, even if sometimes we couldn't visualize it until it was done.

And as far as cost. Jessica worked very hard with us, considering an ultra tight budget, and we made it all fit. All in all, it was a great experience for us!

From the beginning, Emma listened attentively to our thoughts and opinions, taking the time to understand our needs and preferences. She was able to find the right compromises for two very different tastes, balancing modern and classic elements, and skillfully combining matching and contrasting pieces. She was patient while we considered alternatives and helped guide us to the right decisions. She then skillfully put it all together in a way that transformed our living space into something truly special. Emma's attention to detail, creativity, and ability to bring our vision to life exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Emma and Hardt Studio for any interior design project.
