The staff at the restaurant and bar were so wonderful. They were kind, attentive, personable and friendly. They remembered my name and used it frequently and though I was there for one night, they made it memorable. HGI is so lucky to have guys like this on the staff!

Rooms are decent, clean, and I slept well. You can definitely hear planes overhead, but I slept with a noise machine, so it wasn’t a problem. A great option if you need to stay near DTW!

I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn after a 3 hour flight delay. I was checked in by Sabrina. Customer service was great. Hotel is clean and renovated. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. It’s perfect for a one or two night stay at the Detroit Airport. A good airport hotel. I’ll be back. You should definitely check it out.

I had a great stay overall! The staff was great! Very friendly, very accommodating, during a challenging time. (Microsoft outage) My only gripe was without the air conditioning unit on, you definitely hear planes all day. The air conditioning unit is extremely loud in general, but I preferred that over the planes. Again overall great stay!

Great location! The shuttle to the airport was stellar. We returned our rental car the night before and the shuttle picked us up at the airport. Which was very convenient so we could wake up and go directly to our terminal. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are clean, and restaurant was great. Short stay but very nice.

This place was impressive right from check in. Sabrina was pleasant and helpful.|Place is modern and renovated plus:|- excellent breakfast options|- well stocked bar/dinner menu|- very clean|- rooms spacious|- very fair pricing||Both Heather and Myron were excellent in restaurant. So nice and helpful.|And Zach also very polite in housekeeping.||I would highly recommend this hotel and the manager should be promoted! This chain is going to be my new go-to as I like it much more than Marriot Courtyards.

We stayed here for our morning flight out of DTW. We dropped off the rental car the night before and took the hotel shuttle back to the hotel. The shuttle also took us to the airport in the morning. The service was perfect! Everything from Kathy at the front desk for check in, to the onsite restaurant was spot on. Our room was large, the bed very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and did not have any issues. Highly recommend this great hotel!

Didn't know the weekend was sweetest day and it was hockey kids league taking over the whole hotel!! Ok this place really nice!! The check in was easy and the lady gave us free water bottles. The room was super clean and the bathroom showers were great and they have lotion and shower gel if you need some in the bathroom. They are close to restaurants and gas station and then planes goes right over the hotel which some find it annoying but we thought it was cool! Ok so here are the things we were not happy about the pillows are terrible to sleep with so we slept not so great, the top blanket is very rough and so we threw that off and the pool has no supervision every time we came in there , we went there for 20 minutes and so many children with out an adult to watch them. When we left it was almost 10 in the pool and the hot tub were 4 they were not teenage kid they were middle schoolers and they were just kids loud and splash and even diving in the pool, it was very unsafe and uncomfortable so we left. We also clocked out early due to just we not relaxed anymore.

I am a Hilton Honors, and I use Hilton as my preferred choice. I have no problems with other Hotel chains when it comes to early check-in, only Hiltons. This day it was the service at this location. I walked up to the front desk and requested early check in, and the front desk clerk with the nose ring instantly started ranting about she had a full house last night and there aren't any rooms available. I said O my company always request early check in and she said it's not a guarantee and she got people ahead of me, and won't have anything until after 1pm but never asked my name, didn't offer ant suggestion as if I was annoying her. It was the tone in her voice and very rude about it to the point I was embarrassed and canceled my reservation. I went to the Hampton and there was a wait, and that wait was 30 minutes verses 3 hrs, they was kind and asked my name and put me on the list and apologize for the inconvenience of not having any rooms available. Hilton Garden needs to take notes for real. That front desk clerk with the nose ring needs to learn how to talk to customers
