The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, beautifully appointed, and equipped with thoughtful touches. The beds were super cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the amenities were nice, offering everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Positives: Outstanding location, excellent customer service, ultra clean and well maintained.
Negatives: The rooms have no desk or chair. You can only sit on the bed.They provide a tiny mobile table large enough for a laptop and that's all. The bathroom has an odd configuration where you don't have total privacy (your hotel room door literally has you walk into the bathroom first).

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Centric and had a phenomenal experience. The hotel was impeccably clean, and check-in was a breeze. Janice greeted us warmly and was incredibly pleasant. Her customer service skills were a perfect 10/10, and I noticed she displayed the same energy with other customers while I waited for my husband.

The location is fantastic, with great proximity to restaurants. The service at the rooftop bar was excellent, and the rooms were aesthetically pleasing, modern, and functional. I highly recommend this hotel—10/10!

We truly had a warm and delightful stay at the Charlotte South Park Centric! The staff truly made us feel welcomed and valued. We had several nights of great rest. Room was beautiful and clean. Bee Kind toiletries were put to use with the Lemongrass that also served as a bug repellent. Hotel well maintained and will stay here again when in the Queen City!

This was my first time staying at a Hyatt Centric. The online photos of the rooms looked interesting so we decided to give it a shot even though it was more pricey than we would’ve liked. The hotel was clean, the lady at the front desk the night of 11/12/2024 was nice and had a good sense of humor. The room was very clean and bed was comfy. I’m not a huge fan of the open concept bathroom. Although I was here with my wife, I don’t really care to SEE, hear, OR SMELL her taking the Browns to the Super Bowl. The sliding glass bathroom door didn’t offer any privacy. It almost seemed like it was on backwards, you could literally see into the toilet area but not out of it. If I weren’t staying here with my wife I would’ve noped out based on the bathroom alone.

Parking was spacious in the garage across the street. It was a different experience for sure. I won’t say I’ll never stay here again because I probably would, but it wouldn’t be at the top of my list. I think it’s pretty overpriced compared to other competition in the area that are just as nice (at least the night we stayed). I know prices fluctuate. Still a good experience overall but I have to knock a star off for the insane toilet area. The shower also lacked your typical privacy but that was no big deal to us. It’d be kind of weird if you were sharing a room with say a co-worker or someone you aren’t really close with. Cool design, poorly executed toilet area, but still worth a stay if you want “different.”

The hotel was beautiful. The picture do not come close to what it looks like in person. I will be returning again. I enjoyed the view, the location, the staff was polite. The entire experience was a great one. I have nothing bad to say about my stay at this hotel.

I don't write reviews often (more word of mouth reviewer) but wanted to share my thoughts on this property. If you desire to stay where the action is, book this hotel. Walking distance to a fabulous mall, dining, other social activities are optimal (less than 10 mins). Hotel was clean, modern, and the check-in went smooth!

Lots of local shopping and eating options. Smelled great, very clean, I had a spacious corner room. A simple gym is located on the 9th floor, garage parking across the street is validated by QR code in the lobby. Great hotel!
