The hotel is OK. For the price, I would expect a little more. The rooms and hall smells very off-putting. I had to get an air freshener to keep in the room for the duration of my stay. I have stayed in quite a few hotels over the past few months and this was the first that did not contain a microwave.

I appreciated the accommodation of a late check out because I had a flight late in the day. This hotel could use a little updating in my opinion but the location was near the mall and work making it very convenient for me.

A good hotel should make travel as simple and easy as possible. After packing 3 children and driving 500 miles, we pull into the hotel parking lot and discover surprise! You have to scan a QR code in order to pay to use the parking lot. Yay! Even better yet- it is a near dead zone. None of the 3 phones I had a available had a signal. Luckily I happened to have a mobile hotspot, so I could pay the exorbitant parking fee. The entire ordeal of just to pay for parking took probably 30 minutes. Not what you want to be doing after driving 500 miles with 3 kids in the car.

I did not have much interaction with the staff, except when checking in and when the maids woke me and the kids up at 8am knocking repeatedly on the 2nd day of our stay.

The wifi was terrible.

The faucet was broken but functional (I was tired and not about to go through the irritation of changing rooms once we settled in)

There were spots on the tile in the bathroom which I wiped down with hand sanitizer to remove.

The coffee pot was slow (took 15 minutes to brew 1 cup)

no microwave

no TV guide on TV (had to manually go through channels to find a show, one at a time)

I didn't like having to scan our key card to use the elevator (especially when your hands are full)

I very much dislike those odd shaped small square pillows they give you to sleep. Either give your guests regular sized pillows or have more of the ridiculously tiny ones.

We were missing a top sheet on one of the beds and the duvet smelled like ass.

Pros- pretty building, nicely decorated, comfortable mattress, large rooms

Overall, this hotel leaves me feeling that they are only interested in making a profit, not at all in the convience or hospitality of their guests. They have cut corners to save money and it shows. Then they add on surprise expenses that apparently they don't want to be responsible for. I would have rather paid more for the hotel up front and not have to deal with the absolute insanity of trying to get a signal in a near dead zone, so I could pay the surprise(!) parking fee (approx $20 a day) especially after driving all day with 3 kids. Then, the laxidasical cleaning & repairs, were enough to convince me not to ever return to this hotel. Luckily there are a ton of other hotel options in Dallas.

This hotel has a beautiful lobby that is elegant, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is very friendly. There were a few booking issues but they were quickly resolved. The rooms are very nice but are missing a dresser, which I normally store clothing in. The only complaint I have is the bathroom lighting. Although the mirror sconces are beautiful, since there isn’t direct overhead lighting, it is very difficult to see for makeup application. However, they do provide a magnifying mirror that is lighted.

We loved our short stay here. The only thing we didn't like was that the carpet and flooring of the hallways were old and uneven. Other than that, the staff, rooms, location, and environment were great! $20 parking per day and the exit seemed to not be working but we made it out.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel!!! We got the best room paid over $300 a night. The room wasn’t clean and had to wait until 5pm to even get into the room. There was no hair dryer and no of the phones worked. The room stuck so bad I was nauseous all night!! If I could give a zero rating I would!!

The lobby doesn't feel air conditioned (it's hot) and has a bit of a funky odor to it but the room was perfect and clean. The front desk was quick and efficient and there's a lot of space both in the room for relaxing and lobby for meeting/dining. The rates are reasonable for the accommodations and upscale vibes. Don't hesitate to stay here!

Positive: Central location and really nice hotel!!Also, having a bar in the reception area is nice too!!! Negative: Our room was a little dark. Two lamps were out - so more light would have been better!!
