The location and great water pressure are the only highlights of this hotel. Unfortunately, the cons far outweigh the pros.
Housekeeping: Absolutely horrible. They failed to restock basic coffee amenities or leave cups during our entire stay. We had to repeatedly go downstairs for cups. The ice bucket didn’t even have a bag, and the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The shower had noticeable mold and mildew.
Noise Issues: If your room is on the northeast side, prepare for sleepless nights. There's a club on the 2nd level nearby, and all you hear is bass pounding all night long.
Valet Service: Long wait times and no QR code system for convenience. They lost our keys once because a valet driver had them in his pocket. Some drivers seemed more interested in joyriding exotic cars than providing prompt service.
Room Quality: Rooms need a serious refresh. Damaged furniture, a smoky smell, and a poorly designed bathroom door with no privacy. The towels were torn, the bed squeaked, and the mattress had noticeable dips.
Room Service: Limited menu with items missing that were listed online. Food was lukewarm upon arrival.
The noise from the tollway and the street next to the hotel adds to the frustration. If you're looking for rest and relaxation, this is not the place. We’ll be returning to the Hyatt Regency at the mall next time, as it offers a much better experience.
