I visited as a tourist, not a guest, and was absolutely delighted by how welcoming they are to everyone! They allow you to explore the lobby, bars, and restaurants. Stepping inside feels like traveling to another era, and it’s absolutely worth the experience of sitting down and enjoying a drink. I visited the Christmas Village and had a wonderful time there—the service was phenomenal.

From the minute you walk in the hotel you know you are in a well managed professionally run hotel. Checkin is fast and efficient, rooms spacious and well planned and very easy to navigate around the hotel . |The staff are some of the friendliest and most courteous we’ve ever found. Nigel gave us an impromptu historic tour , the breakfast crew in the City Hall were amazing and the porters/concierge staff felt like old friends. |The combination of the history, ambience and atmosphere of the Adolphus hotel makes it unique and we’ll definitely come back.

Wonderful spot in Downtown. This is an amazing hotel. Beautiful inside and out. Rooms feel like a cool boutique hotel, but have been kept up very well. Staff is curious and helpful.
I'm here for a conference and the conference space and food options are great as well.

My wife and another couple friends of ours stayed at Adolphus for the first time. This is truly a 5 star hotel in every sense of this outstanding rating of a hotel. First, I have to commend their entire staff who are well trained in their jobs and genuinely interested in their guests. Jenna, Thanh and Nigel were fantastic and very friendly. The amazing care and hospitality was felt from the moment of arrival to the last seconds of departure at valet parking. Upon return, I realized that there was a minor discrepancy in our invoice and called the hotel's direct phone which they answered after the second ring. Taryn understood my concern and addressed it in the most professional manner which is such a compliment to her and the management at Adolphus. Visiting the historic building in which this beautiful hotel resides makes the trip worth while. Decoration and lighting inside is impressive and rooms are freshly renovated with comfortable beds. BF at the hotel was excellent and we enjoyed the high tea at their beautiful historic room. My wife and I can't compliment this hotel and its staff enough to justify our experience. We will never stay elsewhere when we are in Dallas.

My family and I recently attended a bridal shower at the Adolphus, and I must commend the outstanding service provided by 'Captain' Connie in The French Room and Pedro along with the rest of the staff. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly made the event memorable. My mother stayed in one of the suites and raved about how awesome it was! Pedro provided excellent service during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

The staff was wonderful! The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Petro exceeded all my expectations with welcoming me, assisting with all my needs and questions! Kudos to the staff. I will definable another visit yo this wonderful hotel.

My five-day stay at the Adolphus for my daughter's wedding was memorable. The bridal shower in The French Room surpassed our expectations, thanks to the exceptional service led by "Captain Connie." Pedro was an exemplary host throughout, adeptly managing numerous last-minute requests and transportation needs. Post-wedding, I chose to extend my stay to host friends in my suite. The brunch provided by Pedro and his team was excellent, marked by delightful and considerate touches. The visit concluded with a spa day, where Melissa's outstanding service was enhanced by several gift baskets she suggested, prepared by Victoria for my return to Chicago. It was an extraordinary visit, and I am eager to return on my next Dallas trip. Thank you!

There’s no way this is a 4 star hotel…I think that’s a stretch as I would say 2 star hotel at best. Don’t let the photos fool you, this place is a musty, moldy, overpriced sketchy hotel. From the completely incompetent valet service that takes forever and will lose your car, to the smell and sight of black mold, and the dirty bed linens with hair and empty promises of staff…you’ll want to rethink your stay here. My entire room has mold I couldn’t breathe and ended up leaving early I couldn’t take the smell. They charged need multiple times for the room, and couldn’t explain why I was charged 1k for one night of stay. At almost $400 a night you get the equivalent of a best western…actually I’ve stayed at better best westerns. There is also a noisy bar in the building so expect the thumping of music till 2am. Also this area is dangerous, drugged up homeless everywhere, so much so that all the shops nearby are locked and you have to knock to have security let you enter. I’m from Chicago even, and I’d say the area is bad. Also let’s not forget the lovely sights and sounds of air conditioners from the window.

I’m definitely contacting Marriott corporate, this place needs to get cut from their portfolio. I’ve never had such an awful experience at a hotel before.
