A perfect option for the greater Charlotte area! We stayed for our honey moon and absolutely loved it here. The rooms have plenty of space and are very clean.

All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Likewise, Jeff in in-room dining helped create a memorable first night with organizing champagne and chocolate covered strawberries!

We also tried the couples massage in the spa and the amenities, staff, and rooms were fantastic. The in hotel restaurant is also a must try, we chose to eat breakfast and prefer it over other options locally!

We had a wonderful staycation! Our concierge, Evan, was wonderfully hospitable and made us feel welcome the moment we got here.

The rooms were clean and beautiful, food was excellent, pool was gorgeous- all in all a great experience. We don’t get to treat ourselves often and it really felt like every employee tried to make us feel welcome- it made us feel very special.

I have a background in hospitality and was very grateful to see such a warm representation here! Thank you for making our anniversary special.

Beautifully appointed rooms! Friendly staff. The Hotel itself is beautiful as well. Gallery Restaurant had delicious food & great service. The hotel has 208 rooms.Many business meetings held at this hotel as well. Indoor pool was beautiful & well kept. New nearby restaurants in walking distance as well. Professional staff were all very well dressed. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

I’m writing this review while I’m inside the hotel room right now i just got to the hotel and so far this is the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life.
They charged me 473$ for one night non refundable.
i came to the hotel they only gave us one towel in the bathroom, no toothbrush room was dirty and they said they will charge 22 dollars for breakfast!! I mean come on! Seriously even motel 6 offers free breakfast.
I really can’t believe I wasted this much money for this one.
DO NOT FALL OUT OF THIS GAME STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LUXURY AND I WILL NOT CARE ABOUT THE HOTEL REPLY TO MY REVIEW YOU GUYS ARE SUCK

I felt like royalty! This place is fabulous! I ate quite a few times at the Gallerie, and every meal was outstanding! The wedding event was beautiful and very well organized. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Loved it and you will too!

As a new resident of the Charlotte area, The Ballantyne Hotel was a perfect getaway for my 3-day weekend. I originally booked a stay here to enjoy the hot tub amenity but was left impressed by their wonderful staff. The service I received here was truly magnificent and a service like no other. From the front desk receptionists, spa services personnel, in-room dining crew, and housekeeping; everyone here was cheerfully attentive to my needs and super accommodating. Highly recommend The Ballantyne Hotel to anyone looking for luxurious rooms, a scenic environment, and phenomenal hospitality.

I had been driving for 10 or 11 hours, lots of traffic and accidents and torrential rain… nightmare in every way. My husband (not in the car with me) looked online and found me this hotel because I needed to stop for the night. Every staff member I encountered was amazing and lovely. Every detail of the room and experience was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I never really notice but the linens were silky and beautiful, and the robe had a Frette label so maybe that explains it. I’m a humble gal and like to save money and I am happy at a clean simple hotel but THIS, this place literally has changed me. I landed here by accident and now I will compare everywhere else to this hotel. Thank you, thank you, to everyone who works there and helps to create this amazing place!!!

This hotel was the worst experience I've ever had by a hotel. My travel was delayed as sometimes happens with travel. I knew ee were going to be late so I called and told them we would be there but my travel was delayed and I would need a late check in due to those circumstances. When we finally arrived they didn't have my room, they had given it to someone else. I booked a room with two beds as we were traveling with people with special needs and we absolutely needed 2 beds.

I asked what rooms they had, they had 8 rooms open with one bed. So I told them, I booked for two beds, it sounds like you do have two beds, just in different rooms. I told the desk clerk it's 2 AM, how many more people do you expect to walk into a luxury hotel at this time? Can you just comp us one room for the night, after all you all made the mistake and it's almost certainly going to sit empty anyways at this time. They refused. They wanted me to pay them for two rooms because they botched the reservation. That solution was insulting and atrocious customer service. I'm not going to pay you double because you made a mistake.

The end result was they opted to leave special needs people out at 2 AM while having to rooms and ability to make up for their mistake, but instead left the rooms empty.

We left and had to drive around looking for another hotel with two beds at 2 AM. For that reason this is the worst Hotel I never stayed at.
